That all depends on what you love. I like to sprinkle on chocolate chips, fun colored sprinkles, and maybe even a drizzle of hot fudge or caramel as well.
More Chocolate Recipes:
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup of sugar
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler with hot water until smooth. Add the milk slowly, whisking to combine. Take off the heat and it cools down to room temp.
Mix in the eggs with a mixer until a light and foamy texture happens. This should take about 1 minute of time. Add the sugar slowly and mix.
Blend in the vanilla, cream, and salt. Stir in the chocolate to the cream mixture that you just made.
Put into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the ice cream maker instructions.
If you want harder ice cream, you can then put it into a freezer-safe container.
