Chocolate Dips Snack Board Recipe

I know what you’re thinking…Is there a charcuterie board for every type of recipe? I’d like to think so, and I’m on a mission to make them all!

I love this one because it’s a sweet dessert board, but you can easily make it unique and delicious by changing out some of the items used. That’s the great part about making snack boards – they’re flexible!

This easy recipe is the perfect addition to a party, family gathering, holiday meal, or even game day treats. You can’t go wrong loads of dessert options!

What other type of filler ingredients can I use on this snack board?

Do you want to add or change some of the ingredients? It’s easy to do! You can use some of the tasty options below, or find even more to add!

  • Choose anything that compliments caramel or ganache.  Shortbread, wafer cookies, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or Biscoff cookies would all work for a chocolate board.
  • Your favorite type of nut, chocolate-covered nuts or chocolate-covered espresso beans, would add savoriness and enhance the chocolate flavor.
  • Ensure your preferred chocolate candies are unwrapped and ready to grab and eat. You can choose light or dark chocolate!
  • Strawberries, raspberries, and apples are popular choices, but freshly sliced bananas, peeled oranges, cherries, or pomegranate seeds would all go well with this board.  Dried fruit can also be used: raisins, dried apricots, and dried cherries could help round out a board,

What can I use if I don’t have a charcuterie board?

Have no fear, there is no hard-fast rule that states that you have to have a charcuterie board to make this snack.

You can always use parchment paper on a baking sheet to get the same results. I also have used a simple dessert platter or large serving plate in a pinch as well!

This Chocolate Charcuterie Board Recipe is full of sweet treats! No cooking is required - all you do is prep and snack!

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Ganache
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Rolo Pretzel Treats
  • Truffles
  • White Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1-2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 6 ounces raspberries
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Waffle butter crips
  • Large marshmallows
  • Chocolate cream filled wafers
  • Individual chocolate bars

Instructions

  1. Place caramel sauce and ganache in serving bowls and place them on the board first. For the best presentation and balance, place them on opposite sides of the board.
  2. Arrange the cookies, Rolo candy, and truffles on the board. Place the cookies in a large pile, the Rolo candies in a row or pile, and the truffles in a neat stack.
  3. Place cut fruit on the board, preferably near the dip they accompany best.
  4. Fill the board with wafers, pretzels, marshmallows, and chocolate bars in neat rows or stacks.  Enjoy.

Notes

While portions of the board can be made in advance, it is best to serve soon after assembling, mainly to ensure the fruit is fresh and doesn’t brown.
