Instructions to Make Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies

Follow these simple steps to create a crowd-pleasing dessert.

  1. Preheat and Prep
Start by preheating your oven to the temperature specified on your brownie mix. Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Prepare the Brownie Batter
Mix your brownie batter as directed. Want to elevate the flavor? Stir in a teaspoon of espresso powder for a depth of chocolatey goodness.
  3. Layer the Batter and Creme Eggs
Pour half the batter into your prepared dish. Add halved Cadbury Creme Eggs, placing them evenly across the surface. Pour the remaining batter over the top, gently spreading it to cover the eggs.
  4. Bake and Cool
Bake according to the brownie mix instructions. Once done, allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting. This helps them set and makes it easier to get clean slices.

Dessert Tips and Tricks

  • Slice your Creme Eggs in half while they’re cold to make them easier to handle.
  • Use a serrated knife for clean slices once the brownies cool.
  • Warm individual brownies in the microwave for 10 seconds for that just-out-of-the-oven gooeyness!

Troubleshooting Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies

  • Brownies are too dry? Double-check your baking time; overbaking leads to dryness. Stick to the recommended time for the best texture.
  • Creme Eggs sinking? Coat them lightly in flour before layering into the batter to keep them evenly distributed.

My kids are all at that age now, where they are able to shop for presents and gifts themselves or with supervision from an older sibling.
So this easter they all did their own easter shopping…..however it seems that they didn’t communicate very well with each other. Because of my 5 kids, 4 of them bought me the Creme Egg 10 pack.

Now I love a creme egg and it shows they know their mum well. But even I was struggling to eat 20 creme eggs!!

So I made your brownie, it was sooo good and so much easier than most brownies I have made before (I am not much of a baker…I use the box mixes all the time)

I truely loved the brownie and I loved the way the creme oozed.

They didn’t last long, so I will have to make another batch… but after that they’ll have to wait until next Easter as I don’t want to use all my eggs 😉

I made these for Easter, and they were such a hit! We’re big Cadbury creme egg lovers, and this was such a fun dessert for Easter. Loved how chocolatey and fudgy the brownies turned out too.

  4. This was literally the best of both worlds! It came out so perfectly indulgent I definitely wanted more than one!
