Boon Inc. Scrubbles Bath Toys & Giveaway!

CONTEST CLOSED – WINNER ANNOUNCED
BoonLogoTag Color Boon Inc. Scrubbles Bath Toys & Giveaway! Scrubble Boon Inc. Scrubbles Bath Toys & Giveaway!

I told you last night about Kate at Boon telling me I needed the Potty Bench… what I didn’t tell you was that she sent me the some bath toys, too. Tank has played with them in the tub, but he really likes changing them up while he plays on his Potty Bench, so we (try to) keep them stored in on of the side compartments. My boys would be upset if I told you this, but the older two have also had a good time in the pool with them! The best part is…. Boon Scrubbles are BPA, PVC and Phthalate free!

Kids can practice scrubbing in the tub with this set of three interchangeable bulbs and textured attachments. For fun, fill the bulb with water and squeeze it out. The toys are easy to keep clean, just unscrew the parts—and they can even go in the dishwasher.
I know you all want some of these… they make great basket and stocking stuffers, too!

To Buy: You can get Boon products in tons of stores: ToysRus, BabiesRus, and Target to name a few. Check their “Where to Buy” page to find a store near you. Or, you can purchase them online.

Kate is offering one of my readers their very own Scrubbles set!

The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Crew

n111715865184 4373 The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool CrewI have news! A bit over a month ago, I wrote a couple reviews for The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Crew. For those that where following me then, you might remember my saying that I was trying out to be on their Crew. Well, this morning I got an email saying that I had been chosen!

I am super excited about this and can not wait to get going with it. I will be a part of 125 homeschooling parents that will be testing and reviewing products for homeschoolers. We have given ourselves to a year-long commitment! So, my year is going to be extremely exciting and I hope VERY informative. I don’t know when we will actually start the reviews, but you need to be following my blog so you can stay updated.

Boon Inc. Potty Bench Review

When I contacted Kate at Boon Inc I was hoping to review a couple of their adorable bath toys. We talked a bit and somehow I ended up telling her about my failures with my third boy. I can not get that kid potty trained to save my life (or my wallet, LOL)! He will be THREE at the end of August. We tried a potty chair that fits into the toilet, a stool for him to stand on at the toilet, and a Sponge Bob Potty Chair. He literally screamed and cried so hard with every single thing that there was no way! He would say, “nope… no potty for meee!” Kate said, “Sounds like you need a Potty Bench!” My exact email back to her said, “Oh goodness, no! He won’t use Sponge bob, I am sure he won’t use your adorable bench either.

Well, I obviously had to eat crow on that one! She sent it anyway! Here is my email to Kate on Friday….
Oh my gosh, Kate!! I am totally ecstatic! You should have seen me running around trying to get the box open. Tank has been sitting on it for 5 minutes… no pee yet, but he is actually sitting on it and playing with his new toys. Much more progress than before. I am going to enjoy my family for this Memorial Day weekend with little to no computer work… I am hoping and praying that this works, but either way I am stoked! LOL! I will be in touch after the holidays about my review and seriously, thanks again!

How about that, huh? My kid likes the Potty Bench and even USES the Potty Bench. Tank asks, “Momma, pee-pee potty, pweese?”

So, it works… but it gets better than that! Boon is all about being Earth Friendly and use recycled products as much as possible. They also Give Back:10GiveBack Boon Inc. Potty Bench Review

Oh, it came with a ton of bubble wrap, too. We all had a fun time jumping on and popping bubble wrap. Ok, not all… Annie the Dog barked and barked at the loud noise and DH kept his ears covered and his head shaking… but the rest of us had a blast and mommy got a work-out!

100th Follower: IceFairy

When I reached my 100th follower, I asked that person if they would like to be featured on my blog. Of course, IceFairy said she would… what blogger doesn’t want that? LOL! Anyway, my readers really lucked up with this one, look what she has to say!

About me: I’m a mom of one super active toddler. Icefairy is my favorite nickname and winter is my favorite season. I started blogging three months ago and I’m loving it. I wish I had 48 hours a day so I could have enough time to play with my boy, take care of the family, learn new things, and blog about what I like.

How and Why I started blogging: I didn’t discover the fun world of freebies and giveaways until I got pregnant, when I started to feel the pressure on our budget. I initially created my blogger account to facilitate entering bloggy giveaways. As I read more mom blogs, I fell in love with them and could no longer resist the temptation to join in the fun. I started with blogging about freebies and giveaways on other blogs. Now I review products and host giveaways regularly in addition to listing freebies and giveaways. I’m having so much fun testing out cool new products. It makes me feel so good to give away stuff and perhaps brighten someone’s day with it!

Blog Link: icefairy’s Treasure Chest http://icefairystreasurechest.blogspot.com/

About my blog: It’s a hybrid of a review/giveaway blog, a giveaway/freebie listing blog, and a personal blog.

Hobbies: I love music, movies, singing, and entering giveaways.

Anything else I want people to know:
*To fellow bloggers: I love blog parties. Please let me know if you’re having one and I’ll gladly add your button to my side bar. I love giveaways. Please let me know if you need more entries or would like to have yours listed in my recent issue of “Giveaways Express.” Leaving a comment is the preferred method to communicate with me.

*To freebie/giveaway lovers: I strive to develop my blog into the go-to place for blog parties, great blog giveaways, and quality freebies. Please check my side bar for a list of current blog parties and great giveaway blogs. And of course, don’t forget to enter the awesome giveaways that I’ve been working hard to bring to you!

LEGO Smart Creativity Contest!

I found this while playing on the internet… it is really neat! The rules state that it is open to all educators, including home educators.. so I signed up!

The LEGO® Smart™ Creativity Contest begins with your imagination and ends with great prizes, online recognition, and the chance to share your activity with thousands of students across the nation!
The task is simple.
Create an activity using only the bricks included in a LEGO Smart Kit. Educators are being challenged to use the kits’ contents to develop a hands-on activity for their students. This can range from a simple build to a more advanced mathematical problem. You’re the creator, so let your imagination lead you!
