What does no churn ice cream mean?
To put it simply, it refers to a type of ice cream that can be made without the use of an ice cream maker.
Instead, the mixture is frozen in a regular freezer and stirred periodically, resulting in a creamy yet scoopable frozen dessert.
No churn ice cream recipes typically involve heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and flavorings like vanilla or fruit purees – although this isn’t always true.

How long does it take homemade ice cream to firm?
If you want the ice cream to be solid and frozen, it will need at least 24 hours in the freezer. Most people will let it freeze for 4-6 hours, but the timeframe is up to you.
You can enjoy it before that timeframe if you want it to be in the middle regarding texture. This will make it sorta melty, and sorta frozen, and full of awesome taste.
