How long does no churn ice cream last in the freezer?
No churn ice cream is a popular dessert that’s easy to make and requires no expensive equipment.
So, how long can you keep this delicious, creamy treat in the freezer before it goes bad? No-churn ice cream can typically last up to 2-3 months if stored properly in an airtight container.
However, the quality and taste of the ice cream may diminish over time, particularly if it’s not protected from air exposure.
To maintain the best texture and flavor, consuming your no-churn ice cream within the first few weeks after making it is always best.
If you want to keep your ice cream fresher for longer, consider storing it in the back of your freezer, where temperatures remain more consistent and less likely to fluctuate.

Why is condensed milk used in no-churn ice cream?
No-churn ice cream has become a popular dessert option for those who don’t have access to an ice cream maker or don’t want to deal with the fuss of churning.
One main ingredient that sets no-churn ice cream apart from traditional churned ice cream is condensed milk. But why is condensed milk used in this dessert? The answer lies in its high sugar content and thick consistency.
The added sweetness helps balance out the frozen texture of the ice cream, while the thicker consistency creates a smooth and creamy texture without churning.
This simple ingredient swap makes it easy for anyone to whip up a delicious batch of homemade ice cream in no time.
