Can I make a charcuterie board in advance?

Some of it you can! Anything that is wrapped or that won’t be affected by air can be prepped and made in advance.

Since this dessert board has cookies, I don’t recommend sitting those out on the board until right before serving.

That way, they won’t get stale and will still be fresh and delicious when ready to eat them. Also, have fun prepping and getting the board ready to serve.

This Pink Dessert Charcuterie Board Recipe is perfect for sharing! Everything has pink on it!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 Scoops of Strawberry Ice Cream
  • 1/4 Cups of milk
  • 5-6 Strawberry Mini Bundt Cakes
  • 4-6 Mini Pink Cupcakes
  • Pretzel Bows
  • 12 Blonde Sandwich Cookies
  • 12 Pink Wafer Cookies
  • Macaron Cookies
  • 4 Ounces Pink Chocolate
  • Whipped Cream
  • Grapes
  • Raspberries
  • Candy Coated Chocolates Chocolates

Instructions

  1. To begin, put your pink chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Put the candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds, take it out, and stir the chocolate. Repeat this step in 15-second intervals until your chocolate is liquid and smooth.
  2. Get your pretzel bows and dip each one halfway into the chocolate. Scrape off any excess chocolate and then place the pretzel bow on parchment paper to firm up. Repeat this process for each pretzel.
  3. Next, grab your sandwich cookies and dip them halfway into the chocolate. Be sure to remove any excess chocolate and place them on the parchment paper to harden the chocolate.
  4. Put your ice cream and milk in a blender, blend for 30 seconds, or push the milkshake button if your device has one.
  5. Put the mixture in the fridge for later.
  6. Now assemble the board.
  7. Start with the mini bundt cakes. Put them in the middle of the board in a slanted line. Make a line with the dipped sandwich cookies on each side of the bundt cakes, and add macarons halfway through each line.
  8. Put some pink wafers on opposite empty corners of the board.  Place a few pieces of chocolate in the empty spaces behind the wafers.
  9. Place the dipped pretzels on the other two empty corners.
  10. Add grapes and candy-coated chocolates randomly all over the board. Don’t be afraid to add bunches of candy and grapes.
  11. Get your milkshake out of the fridge and pour it into the shooter cups. Leave a little space at the top to add some whipped cream. Then, place a raspberry in the whipped cream.
  12. Place your milkshakes and any leftover raspberries on the board.
  13. Serve and Enjoy!
