I’m a little obsessed with owl baby shower ideas and this owl baby shower favor box is the most adorable addition to the set I’ve been building! It’s like a tiny take out box that you fill with whatever little candies or favors you plan to give out and it’s so easy to make, you’ll love it!

Oh, you’re not actually all into the whole DIY thing? That’s quite alright. I sometimes am not super into it either. So I totally get it.

So, I found some awesome ideas for you that you can just grab and not have to do all the printy-cutty-makey-thing.

But, if you’re like me, you’re totally into making your own baby shower favors, so this is where the rubber meets the road. Or the owl takes off into the sky. Whatever.

Necessary Tools:

Normally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to tell you what you need in your craft room, because I’m really not like that. But I am going to share with you what I used to make these awesome little takeout boxes, because, frankly, if I were you, I’d appreciate it. So, here’s what I used to make these awesome baby sprinkle favors.

Necessary Materials to Make a DIY Owl Favor Box:

Making a your own cut and fold owl themed box is so easy, though, so don’t feel like you’ve GOT to buy other favors. To make these easy DIY owl baby shower favor box, I only needed three things:

This easy tutorial to make these adorable Owl Baby Shower Favor Boxes is so simple, you're going to want to make a million!

Materials

  • Quality Card Stock Paper
  • Glue Stick, Tape or Glue Dots
  • Free Printable for the Favor Boxes

Tools

  • Cricut
  • Light Grip Mat

Instructions

  1. Working with one sheet at a time, download the PNG Files, then upload each to Cricut Design Space.
  2. Select "complex" image type. On the next screen, select "continue" and the following screen, select "save as a print and cut project".
  3. Insert the image onto the next screen, then select "make it".
  4. Load the white card stock into your printer and print the project.
  5. Place the printed card stock paper onto your light grip mat as shown on the screen in Cricut Design Space.
  6. Select medium-thickness card stock as the material.
  7. Load the light grip mat into your Cricut cutting machine and tell it to cut.
  8. When the cut is complete, weed the design and repeat with the remaining number of favor boxes you plan to make.
  9. Fold the boxes into a box shape and fold the bottom closed, adding a dot of glue or tape to hold it closed.
  10. Fill with candies and fold the top closed, adding a dot of glue or tape to hold it closed and enjoy!
