But, back to this zucchini recipe. I always have a small (to me) garden during the summer months and I always overplant my zucchini. I give it away to friends and family and still have tons of leftovers! We love eating fresh vegetables every night so this grilled zucchini is a tasty recipe to use it up.

Tips for making George Foreman Grilled Zucchini

Slice your fresh zucchini less than 1/2″ thick. You don’t want it too thick because it will take longer to cook or to thin because it will burn and no one likes burnt veggies!

Preheat your George Foreman Grill prior to cooking. You want all the fresh zucchini slices to cook evenly.

Season the zucchini slices with all the ingredients. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder go a long way and I promise you will love the taste of this easy recipe.

What foods do grilled veggies pair well with?

Grillled vegetables make a great side dish. Not only do they pair well with grilled chicken breasts and hot dogs, but don’t forget that they can easily add extra flavor to anything that you’re cooking in the kitchen or on your grill grates.

The next time that you want simple ingredients to add to your meal, a side of zucchini is a great option. You can take a basic recipe and turn it into something delicious. Cooking and adding zucchini is a fantastic way to cook up garden zucchini, too!

You can use an indoor grill and an outdoor grill. Both options will give those grill marks that everyone loves! Don’t forget to add a little bit of Italian seasoning or other fresh herbs to bring out the best flavor in the perfect way.

Grilled veggies like this also taste great the next day. You can enjoy leftover zucchini by adding it to a small bowl and reheating the microwave for a short time. Add a dash of salt – and enjoy! Healthy recipes are always a good idea!
