Why are my cupcakes dry?

Dry cupcakes can be a big disappointment, especially when you’ve spent time and effort baking them. So, what could be causing it? One possibility is over-baking.

When cupcakes are left in the oven for too long, they can dry and crumbly. Another culprit could be too little moisture in the batter.

Follow the recipe carefully, and consider adding an extra tablespoon or two of liquid to keep things moist.

Finally, be mindful of the ingredients you’re using. Old, stale flour or sugar can lead to a drier texture.

Paying attention to baking time, moisture level, and ingredient freshness can prevent dry cupcakes and ensure a moist, delicious treat every time.
