Simple Baked Cinnamon Apples

I can’t get enough of this delicious dessert. Not only do I love how it looks, but it’s one of the easiest desserts to make as well. My boys love it when it’s cooked, and so do I!

You need simple ingredients to make it – which is a major plus, too. Minimal prep work and lots of flavor are reasons I love making it.

Why are Fuji apples great for baking?

Fuji apples are great for baking due to their dense and crisp texture, which holds up well in the oven and provides a satisfying crunch in every bite.

These apples are also known for their sweetness and aromatic flavor, which adds depth to any baked good.

Unlike other apples, Fuji apples contain less moisture, making them the perfect choice for pie fillings and tarts that require a firmer texture. Additionally, Fuji apples’ natural sweetness means that less sugar is needed in recipes, resulting in a healthier dessert option.

So the next time you plan to whip up a baked treat, choose Fuji apples for a delicious and satisfying result.

How do I store baked apples?

If you’re wondering how to store your freshly baked apples properly, you’re in the right place! There are a few things to keep in mind to keep your apples fresh for as long as possible.

First and foremost, make sure that your baked apples are completely cool before storing them. This will help prevent any moisture buildup that could cause them to spoil faster.

Once cool, place them in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator. Based on the recipe and ingredients, baked apples typically last 3-5 days in the fridge.

If you want to enjoy your baked apples beyond that time frame, they can also be frozen for up to six months.

Thoroughly thaw them in the refrigerator before reheating them for the best taste and texture. With these tips, you can enjoy your delicious baked apples for as long as possible!
