Ingredients
  

  • Box Chocolate Cake + ingredients called for on the box
  • ½ Cup(s) of softened Butter
  • 1 Cup(s) Peanut Butter
  • 3-4 Cup(s) Powdered Icing Sugar or more if you want
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Milk or more as needed
  • ½ Cup(s) Reese’s Pieces
  • 9 halved Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions
 

  • Make the cupcake batter as directed on the box. Put the cupcakes into their liners in the pan, and bake. The baking time will be listed on the box as well. Typically, the cupcakes will be baked anywhere from 15-18 minutes, but it might be more or less, so be sure to read.
  • To prepare the frosting, beat the butter, peanut butter, powdered icing sugar, vanilla extract, and milk together. Taste and then adjust if needed.
  • Put the frosting into a piping bag with a large star tip at the end.
  • Swirl the icing on top of the cooled cupcakes.
  • Top with Reese’s Pieces and half of the peanut butter cup.

    These chocolate peanut butter cupcakes were heaven. They tasted like eating a huge peanut butter cup. Very moist and the frosting was perfect. If you love peanut butter and chocolate you must try these.
