Okay, who doesn’t love Eggnog? Personally, I love Eggnog but I do not like waiting till the Holidays
to enjoy a nice glass of it. Another concern is some of us have egg allergies, which makes drinking this tasty holiday treat a little challenging.
This Eggless Eggnog recipe will not only give you the opportunity to enjoy Eggnog all year but will also keep the eggs away. Eggnog year-round and no eggs! Seriously, things don’t get much better than that.
This recipe is so easy to make and even the most kitchen-challenged person can whip this together in no time at all. I do suggest making this Eggless Eggnog recipe the night before. I personally feel that letting it chill over night just makes this recipe that much better. If you need to make it the day off that is fine just make sure to give your nog enough time to chill.
5 cups milk
1 3 oz package Jello instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon optional
1 tsp rum flavored extract optional
In a large bowl, using a mixer, blend instant pudding with 1 cup of milk. Allow pudding to sit until thickened, about 10 minutes.
Add the nutmeg, vanilla, sugar, rum, cinnamon and remaining milk. Stir to mix. Chill for several hours - overnight if possible.
Serve with a dusting of nutmeg.
