Eggless Eggnog Recipe

I love being able to use coconut milk to get a sweet and creamy texture in this recipe. The heavy cream makes for quite a texture difference, too.

Since I make this without the bourbon most times, the boys love having their own glass to drink and enjoy. Add a bit of cinnamon on top to take the flavor to a whole new level!

Do you need to add in instant pudding to this recipe?

You actually don’t. Some eggnog recipes call for it but this isn’t one of them. The whipping of the coconut milk and cream makes a creamy texture where a pudding mixture isn’t needed.

Best Christmas Drink Recipes:

When I think of Eggnog, it definitely screams Christmas to me. So, after making this you are certainly going to want more Christmas beverage goodness. Am I right?

Besides, eggnog can be a bit of an acquired taste – many kids won’t touch it. LOL! I understand that. If your child is one that won’t touch it, you are going to want to make one (or more) of the following, too!

This Blue Christmas Mocktail Recipe gets its beautiful color from the non-alcoholic version of Blue Curacao in the recipe.

This easy, non-alcoholic, Christmas punch takes just minutes to make and will be a hit at any Christmas party – with kids and adults!

With its bright red color and coconut rim, this Santa’s Hat Shirley Temple will be the hit of your Christmas party!

Can you use a different type of milk besides coconut milk?

Oat milk may be another great option for this recipe. You can also add some maple syrup to the mixture if you want to up the sweetness naturally.

If you don’t need it to be vegan, but just need to take out the egg you can use regular cow milk. Personally, I have an egg allergy. So, I avoid eggs as much as possible. But, I am not actually vegan.

This Eggless Eggnog recipe will not only give you the opportunity to enjoy Eggnog all year but will also keep the eggs away.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of coconut milk
  • ½ cup of coconut cream
  • ¼ cupof raw cashew
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp of nutmeg
  • bourbon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into the blender, minus the bourbon. Blend until smooth.
  2. Put a medium sized pot on the stove on medium heat and add the mixture. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low after that. You need to be whisking the whole time so lumps don't form. Cook the mixture for about 10 minutes. Take off the burner and let it cool.
  3. After it cools down, blend it again and pour through a strainer. Add in the bourbon (which is optional, of course!)
