The method couldn’t be simpler. You combine all the spices, add the saltines to a sealable bag, and then add the seasoning mix once the oil covers the crackers. Then in the words of Taylor Swift, “Shake it off.”
Shaking the bag gives the seasoning chance to distribute. But, if you are a little fearful of the heat, you can always reduce the amount of crushed red pepper flakes you add.
These are the perfect crunchy snack that will have you wanting more. My family loves them!

How should I store the Alabama Fire Crackers?
To keep spicy crackers from getting stale, it is important to store them in an airtight container.
Doing so will not only help to preserve freshness but also protect the crackers from humidity and temperature fluctuations which can cause them to lose their crunch and flavor.
Additionally, storing the crackers away from direct sunlight helps to ensure that they maintain their quality.
With these tips in mind, one can enjoy freshly-made, delicious spicy crackers for longer.
