Instructions to Make Space Themed Charcuterie Board Recipe

Creating this space board is like crafting edible art. It’s relaxing, creative, and kid-approved!

  1. Clean your board and fruit so your setup starts fresh and food-safe.
  2. Cut the cheese: Use a star-shaped fondant cutter to shape Colby Jack slices into stars. Use a round cutter or melon baller to make craters in the brie, creating a “moon.”
  3. Prep the olives by placing them into a small bowl to contain mess and enhance presentation.

Assembling the Board

Start building your edible galaxy!

  • Layer crackers on one side and top each with a slice of salami—this resembles a mini eclipse!
  • Line up the cheese stars next to the crackers.
  • Roll the prosciutto and place above and below the cracker section for symmetry.
  • Add blue tortilla chips and place a pistachio-almond mix beside them.
  • Layer green veggie chips on top of the blue ones for a layered effect.
  • Place the “brie moon” in an open corner and position the olive bowl near the nuts.
  • Fill gaps with black grapes, blueberries, and blackberries. Don’t be shy—double layer for fullness.
  • Sprinkle with white star sprinkles and edible glitter.
  • Snip off lollipop sticks and place each themed candy in strategic spots—astronaut on blueberries, spaceship on the outer edge, and Earth pop across from the moon.

Serve and enjoy immediately with your favorite mocktails or fruit punch!

  • Cracker balance: Use both sturdy and light crackers to hold meats and cheeses without breaking.

Troubleshooting Space snack board

  • Fruits rolling away? Slice grapes in half for stability.
  • Too sparse? Fill gaps with extra fruit or nuts.
  • Cheese too soft to cut? Freeze for 10 minutes before cutting stars.
