What fun outdoor activities can I plan for my preschooler?
Here are some fun, simple outdoor activities your preschooler will love. Mix and match, and don’t forget to ask for their input, too!
1. Nature Scavenger Hunt
Make a list (with pictures!) of items like a leaf, rock, feather, or flower and let your child search for them.
2. Bubble Play
Bring out bubble wands or a bubble machine—great for running, chasing, and popping.
3. Chalk Creations
Sidewalk chalk lets them draw, practice letters, or create obstacle courses.
4. Water Play
Buckets, cups, and a kiddie pool for pouring, scooping, and splashing.
5. Mini Obstacle Course
Use cones, ropes, or even stuffed animals to jump over, crawl under, and run around.
