Trace the dots and use them again
There’s no way that them cutting them lines just once has to be the end to the fun! Trace the dots and have them do it over and over again!
Trace first, then cut
Grab a marker or a crayon and have the kids trace the dotted line first and then use their scissors to cut on it as well.
Create a story to go with the cutting
Have the kids create a fun story using their imagination before they start cutting. This will get them engaged and interested in the activity.
