Easter Greater Than and Less Than Worksheets
Easter Greater Than and Less Than Worksheets bring essential math skills to your holiday activities! These free resources offer an engaging Easter learning activity that helps kids master number comparison concepts.
Easter bunnies, chicks, and decorated eggs make math practice engaging and exciting for children who might otherwise resist traditional worksheets.
Kids need to understand number relationships early, and these fun worksheets help them grasp which numbers are bigger or smaller while they enjoy cute Easter characters and bright spring colors!

I created these worksheets to help kids practice math without feeling like they’re doing schoolwork. The Easter theme gets them excited to show off their number skills!
What is the learning benefit of these Easter Greater Than and Less Than Worksheets?
These Easter comparison worksheets help young learners develop a strong number sense.
When children can look at 8 and 2 and quickly identify which is greater, they develop mathematical thinking to help them with future math concepts like addition, subtraction, and even algebra.
The Printable Easter Worksheets also help kids recognize number patterns. As they compare different pairs of numbers, they notice rules about how numbers work. They will learn that numbers get larger as they count and that two-digit numbers are always greater than single-digit numbers.
Number comparison also teaches children to pay attention to details! Kids will look at each digit to see which number is greater or less. This attention to detail transfers to other subjects, too, helping with reading skills, following directions, and completing multi-step tasks.

What it includes:
The free homeschooling Easter worksheets include two pages filled with Easter fun. The first worksheet asks kids to “Circle the Least Number” from pairs shown on Easter images. Kids will find cute eggs, yellow chicks, and adorable bunnies displaying two numbers.
The second worksheet flips the challenge, asking children to “Circle the Greatest Number” using the same Easter characters and number pairs. Both pages include simple single-digit comparisons for beginners and trickier double-digit numbers for more advanced learners.
You’ll have to download the printables to see all the cute Easter characters and number challenges I’ve included!

Fun ways to use this printable:
These worksheets go way beyond paper-and-pencil practice! I’ve thought up some creative, hands-on ways to use them to get kids moving, thinking, and having fun while they learn essential math concepts.
Plastic Egg Number Match
Fill plastic Easter eggs with number cards or write numbers directly on the eggs with a marker. Dump all the eggs in a basket and have kids randomly pick two eggs.
Would you like to save this?
They must compare the numbers and decide which is greater or less (depending on which worksheet you’re using). After choosing, they find that pair on the worksheet and circle the correct answer.
This hands-on activity adds a tactile element to the learning process. Kids love opening the eggs to reveal the numbers inside, and this extra element of surprise makes the math practice more exciting.
You can reuse these number eggs for multiple practice sessions or even have siblings compete to see who can correctly identify more greater/lesser numbers.
Hopping Number Comparisons
Draw or print large numbers on paper and spread them around the floor. Call out two numbers from the worksheet and ask your child to hop to the greater (or lesser) number. This gets kids moving and thinking at the same time!
This approach helps wiggly learners burn energy while reinforcing number concepts. The physical movement of hopping from one number to another helps cement the relationship between numbers in their minds.
Easter Egg Number Line
Create a number line on the floor using paper eggs numbered in sequence. Give your child two numbers from the worksheet and ask them to stand on the smaller number, then count the steps to reach the larger number.
This activity shows kids exactly how much greater one number is than another. As they count their steps from the smaller to the larger number, they’re also practicing addition by finding the difference between the two values.
