At our house, we have the family over every Christmas morning for breakfast. It gives us a chance to visit and for the grandparents to see what Santa brought the kids. We started doing this when we got sick of yanking the kids from their new toys to make them get ready so we could run around visiting family.
This way, we still get to see family first thing in the morning, but the kids have a couple more hours to play before we take them to visit. Honestly, we have found this keeps the grumpies down!
Anyway, since we have been doing the Family breakfast for so long, I am constantly looking for one more way to blow their minds. LOL!
