  1. Hi,
I have a question. My dog is allergic to coconut (among other things), can I replace the coconut in your recipe with shea butter?
    Thanks!
    Marie

    1. Hi Marie, thank you for your question! I understand that some dogs can have allergies, and it’s important to find suitable alternatives. While coconut is a popular ingredient in homemade dog soap bars, you can definitely replace it with shea butter in the recipe. Shea butter is known for its moisturizing properties and can be a great alternative for dogs with coconut allergies. Just make sure to adjust the measurements accordingly and follow proper safety guidelines when making the soap. Wishing you and your four-legged friend a wonderful soap-making experience! Let me know if you have any more questions.
