Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 Cup(s) water
  • Cup(s) milk divided
  • Cup(s) pure canola or coconut oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1- 3.4 ounce box of French Vanilla Instant Pudding divided
  • Sprinkles

Frosting Ingredients:

  • 2 Cup(s) of softened salted butter
  • 1- 3.4 ounce box of French Vanilla Instant Pudding divided
  • 4 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • Cup(s) milk divided
  • 3 tablespoons half and half you may or may not need
  • 4 Cup(s) powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake pan with the cupcake liners.
  • Add the cake mix, half of the pudding, and 1/3 cup of milk to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the water, eggs, and oil and mix on medium speed using a hand mixer.
  • Add the cupcake batter into the liners, 2/3 full. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool down all the way.
  • To make the frosting, mix the rest of the pudding and milk in a bowl.
  • In a different bowl, cream the cream cheese and the butter until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the pudding/milk mixture.
  • Slowly add the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until it is nice and creamy and peaks form. Add 1-3 tablespoons of the half and half between the cups of powdered sugar as needed.
  • Add the frosting into a piping bag and frost the cooled cupcakes. Add the sprinkles!
