It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of printables because they’re a great way to fill the day with fun activities and learning opportunities.

What I enjoy about this Easter packet is that it combines both! Pages for learning and pages for fun that equal hours of happy kids!

Fun ways to use this printable:

While you can just print this out and start using it, don’t forget there are other fun ways to use this printable packet.

I love using printables to think tank new ideas, so I’ve included a few of my favorites that I can’t wait to share with all of you!

Have an Easter Egg hunt

Why not? You can never have too many Easter egg hunts with the kids! You can also make it a learning activity by putting alphabet upper case and lower case letters on the eggs and having the kids hunt and find the matching ones!

This is a great way to get them up and moving their bodies while also having them work on letter identification and matching skills.

Go on an Easter scavenger hunt

Kids love to seek and find things, so go around the house and see how many Easter-related items you can find together. Have them write them down or talk about them to engage together.

You can also head out the front door and do the same outside! There are always some pretty cool things to see and find.

Make an Easter treat

After a few hours of learning and playing, everyone will be hungry! Whip up some Easter treats in the kitchen to work on practical life skills.

Cooking and baking together is an easy way to help the kids learn the importance of following directions, measuring ingredients, and being patient!

Why is it important for children to learn the letters of the alphabet?

Learning the letters of the alphabet is a critical first step in helping children learn to read, which is why it is so important. Knowing their letters helps them recognize words through phonics, allowing them to “sound out” unfamiliar words they encounter.

They can start connecting with written language by understanding alphabetical letters and sounds.

In addition, learning the alphabet opens up many exploration opportunities as children can be introduced to books and other reading materials that help them expand their knowledge further.

There are many fun ways for children to start learning the letters of the alphabet that can make it engaging and exciting — from songs and games to art projects and seeing letters in everyday environments.
