50 Halloween Movies for Children

It’s Halloween time once again. This means costume picking, bag choosing, yard decorating – and Halloween Movies for Children! I’ve gathered the best Halloween shows to watch this year, and they’re all below!

If you want to spend time together as a family watching a spooky good movie, check out these options! They’re great for a wide variety of ages!

We watch movies leading up to the big day to excite the kids for Halloween. My job is to find ‘scary movies’ that won’t traumatize the children but still have a spooky or Halloween theme.

In the past, it has been more complicated than I imagined it would be. So, I have put together a list for you that is filled with Halloween movies that won’t give your kids nightmares or put you to sleep.

What are good snacks for movie nights?

What’s a movie night without the perfect snack to accompany it? The possibilities are endless, but some snacks are better suited for the occasion.

Popcorn is a classic, but adding fun flavors like white cheddar or caramel can mix things up. Candy like M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces are great for satisfying a sweet tooth, while pretzels or chips like Doritos can add some savory crunch.

Of course, baking fresh cookies or whipping homemade popcorn balls for a fun DIY snack project is always possible.

How do I prepare for a fun Halloween movie night?

First and foremost, ambiance is key. Set the mood with dim lighting, flickering candles, and maybe even a fake cobweb.
