This Halloween worksheet creates a fun Halloween learning activity that will have the kids learning how to tell the difference between uppercase and lowercase w’s.

Fun ways to use this printable:

Preschool Halloween printables are fun but don’t forget to add in some other activities to accompany as well!

Use these free Halloween printables as a theme and run with them!

Cut and Sort

Cut the letters out and have your child sort them into piles or individual containers.

If your student is practicing scissor skills, you could have him (or her) cut first and then sort.

Stickers, Dobbers, Manipulatives

You don’t have to just have your child circle the correct letters.

They can x-out the wrong ones.

Another option is to use a certain color do-a-dot marker for the capital W’s and a different color for the lower case.

Your child could also use Halloween manipulatives to cover the correct (or wrong) letters, too.

With do-a-dot markers, stickers, crayons, stampers, or any other manipulatives your child can work through the worksheet looking for all of the letter W’s!

Make coloring pages

Use the back of this W is for Witch worksheet printable to have the kids draw fun Halloween pictures. Then just color them in and hang them up for all to enjoy.

Another option is to provide a second sheet of white paper and a lightbox. Then, your child (or students) can trace the adorable witch and color it in.
