Witch Hat Craft

Take the learning off the page with a simple craft! Provide kids with black construction paper to fold into a witch hat shape, then have them decorate it with glitter, stickers, or cut-out paper W’s. You could even have them glue on small pictures of other W words (like wolf or web).

This hands-on project not only strengthens fine motor skills but also helps kids anchor the letter W to a memorable Halloween image.

       

 

W Sound Storytime

Turn phonics practice into a storytelling game! Challenge kids to create a spooky or silly Halloween story that uses as many W words as possible. For example: “The witch waved her wand and a wolf walked into the web.”

In order to access the download, there should be a popup window that asks for your email address and name. If you are not seeing this little window, it is possible that popups are blocked on your browser.

      To resolve this, please make sure to disable any popup blockers on your browser settings. Once you do so, you should be able to see the popup window where you can enter your email address and name to access the download.
