Children’s Museum of Atlanta – Children’s museums are always great for the whole family. This museum is a great example of a well put together place for children and families. Your family will have no problem spending the day here exploring.

Chattahoochee Nature Center – A great nature center to get a feel and vibe for the natural side of Atlanta. While Atlanta is a big city, it also has plenty of nature to enjoy and take part in. Go ahead and tour this great nature center.

Legoland Discovery Center – Discovering is a great part of being a kid. Taking your kids to the Legoland Discovery Center is sure to make the whole family happy.

Stone Mountain Park – A theme park the whole family will love. Even if your family isn’t a huge fan of roller coasters, there is always something to do.

Zoo Atlanta – You may have visited a lot of zoos in your life, but this is one of the best. So many incredible animals to see and observe. Put Zoo Atlanta on your must see list when in Atlanta.

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park – This is a national park site with lots of history on the Civil War. The view from the top of the mountain is just breath taking but your kids can also take in the cannons and other items from the war. Don’t forget to stop at the visitor center first and grab your book to get your Junior Ranger Badge before exploring.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History – Dinosaurs are a great way to explore, right? Well, you can see dinos and have hands on experiences here at this museum. Make sure you bring the whole family down to check it out.

Georgia Aquarium – A public aquarium that gives you access to so many awesome sea life wonders. The whole family will LOVE exploring what lives under the sea.
