Cinco de Mayo (or May 5th) is right around the corner.  Are you planning to celebrate?  Here at 3 Boys and a Dog, we like to teach our kids all about other cultures and their history.  Plus, we love a good fiesta just as much as the next person.

This year, Cinco de Mayo falls on a Sunday making it easy to have an entire day filled with Mexican themed fun!  We will enjoy some of the yummy Cinco de Mayo recipes that I have posted at Southern Mom Cooks, decorate with the printables above, do some printable worksheets (I have these posted at the deals site), and watch all three Beverly Hills Chihuahua movies!

What will you do?  Do you have a Mexican Heritage?  Tell us how you celebrate this important day in Mexico’s history with your family!

I have lots of fun Cinco de Mayo happenings on my three sites including:

  • The free printable Cinco de Mayo educational kids activities.
  • Free printable Cinco de Mayo family games and activities to liven up your Fiesta. Simply click the picture above to download the full pdf.
  • A yummy Cinco de Mayo recipe from Food Network celebrity chef Ingrid Hoffman!
