Create a letter D coloring page
Once the kids get through the packet, have them draw their own letter D coloring page so that they can color it in. This is a great way to work on art skills and even more letter D learning.
The kids can color the page and then hang it up on the fridge to enjoy!
Make a paper bag donkey puppet
All you need is a paper bag and have the kids make a donkey puppet on it! They can draw on the face and add and glue on the ears. Making homemade puppets are so much fun to do!
Once they get the hang of making a donkey puppet, see if they can make other farm animals. Who knows, they just might make a whole puppet farm!
Visit donkeys at a local farm
If there is a local farm nearby, take the kids to see the donkeys! This would be a super cool field trip idea and a great way to let the kids see real donkeys in person! You can also talk about some fun facts about donkeys as well during your trip.
