What are fun facts about caribou?

Did you know that caribou are the ultimate winter warriors? These amazing animals, also known as reindeer, have special hooves that act like snowshoes, helping them walk on snowy and muddy terrain without sinking!

And their noses? Super cool—they warm up the chilly air before it reaches their lungs. Oh, and get this—both male and female caribou grow antlers, which is rare in the animal kingdom.

Next time you think about Santa’s helpers, remember their wild cousins are just as incredible in the great outdoors!
