If you’re a fan of puppy chow then you know that it’s super simple to make. You just need a large mixing bowl, a few simple ingredients, and you’re well on your way to making, S’Mores Puppy Chow, a delicious and simple treat.
My boys love when I make puppy chow because it’s a fast and simple treat. I also love to make it taste different every time so they never know what to expect! This just adds to the fun!
How do you store leftover puppy chow?
All you have to do is store it in an airtight container. That’s literally it.
You don’t have to store it in the fridge, but you can if you want. I like it to be cold so sometimes I’ll pop it in the fridge for later.

Crazy Good Smores Puppy Chow Recipe
This is such a simple puppy chow recipe!
Ingredients
- 3 cups of Chex cereal
- 3 cups of Golden Grahams
- 1 bag of White Candy Melts
- 1 bag of Chocolate Candy Melts
- 1 cup of Mini Marshmallows
- 1 cup of Hot Chocolate Mix
- ½ cup of Powdered Sugar
Instructions
Grab 2-gallon baggies. Put 1/2 cup of hot chocolate mix in one and 1/2 cup of marshmallows as well.
In the other bag add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and 1/2 cup of marshmallows.
Put the cereal and golden Grahams in different bowls.
Melt the candy melts in the microwave according to the directions on the package. Once melted, pour over the golden graham and stir. Pour that mixture into the powdered sugar bad. Pour in the rest of the powdered sugar and shake.
Melt the candy melts in the microwave according to the directions on the package. Once melted, pour over the cereal and stir. Pour into the bag with hot chocolate and add in the rest of the hot chocolate and shake.
Once coated, pour out onto the baking sheet and let dry.
