Have you ever gone on vacation for a long time and eaten out pretty much every meal? That is how I feel we have done the past 2 weeks. We have fabulous friends that have helped us through this difficult time, but I am ready to get back to really cooking. Not just repurposing leftovers, but actually cooking. Comfort food is what I call it. The stuff I make best and that my family requests regularly.
Ok, on to my menu plan for this week:
Monday: Fried pork chops, mashed potatoes & gravy, steamed veggies
Tuesday: Kelli’s Spaghetti
Wednesday: Beef Stroganoff
Thursday: Captain Crunch Chicken and Potato Salad

I've never heard of Captain Crunch Chicken - sounds yummy. I love the sound of your blog - down home and kid-friendly. Two things I love to in my cooking. I have to check out your site!
