Can you use any cake pan in an Instant Pot?

Not really, no. You’ll need to be certain that you’re using a cake pan that is going to fit, which is typically 6 or 7 inches in size.

If you’re interesting baking a cake in your Instant Pot, just be certain that you figure out the size of the pan that you’re going to need before you begin.

        

 

What does naturally release mean on the Instant Pot?

This is a way to release the high pressure so that your food can be finished and ready to remove. Some recipes will have you do this for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, or possibly even 20 minutes. Pay attention to what the recipe says and follow it carefully.

When you’re using an Instant Pot pressure cooker, you’ll want to be certain that you’re being safe in releasing the pressure and steam.
