Easter Counting Sheets

Sharing is caring!

The kids will have a blast with these Easter Counting Sheets! They’re a fun way to learn and show off their counting skills! When it comes to preschool printables, add these to your teaching radar!

Since Easter is right around the corner, now is the perfect time to incorporate some of these learning printables into the day. All you have to do is print and let the cards get started.

This printable pack is great for kids learning because it introduces the concept of counting and repetition.

What I enjoy about this activity is that the more they practice, the more they will learn how to count. It’s a great way to motivate their counting confidence, too.

You can even use real jelly beans as a fun treat – the options are endless in making counting fun!

What is the learning benefit of this printable?

I’ve included a ton of examples for counting in this printable! All the pages have them work on their counting skills in a fun and engaging way.

This packet can be printed in black and white or color as well – or use both for double the counting fun. Every page has the kids count, write, and then physically put the jelly beans into the jar to help with visual learning.

What it includes:

This counting printable packet includes multiple pages of Easter-themed fun. There are bundles of black and white, or bundles of colored pages – and we’ve even included the black and white jelly beans and colored jelly beans to count out and use.

Every page focuses on direction, tracing, coloring, and counting. So many learning activities on every page.

Fun ways to use this printable:

The printables can be used just like they are, but they’re also great for branching out to other great learning ideas and fun.

Here are a few other ways to use these printables about counting to do more fun things.

Dish out real jelly beans

Once the kids get the hang of counting with these printed jelly beans, get a bag of real jelly beans and have them count them out, separate them by colors, and more.

They’ll be putting the counting skills that they just learned to the real-world test! (and sharing fun treats along the way!)

Create the perfect jelly bean

Everyone loves jelly beans, but isn’t it time for a new flavor? Sit with the kids and talk to them about what jelly bean flavor they’re craving.

Then, take that information, and have them write out the ingredients to make and draw it. This is a super fun way to have them use their imagination and create the jelly beans of their dreams!

Head outside

Now that they’re used to counting, head out the door and find other objects they can count. See if they can find rocks, see if they can count clouds, or see if they have something else outside that they want to look forward to counting!

Once you’re out in the real world, there are so many things that you can count together and have fun doing so.

Why are counting skills so crucial for kids to learn?

Counting skills are an essential building block for a child’s development, and they are necessary to learn both inside and outside the classroom.

Good counting skills can promote problem-solving skills, which can help kids with mathematical operations and other real-world issues.

Counting also helps develop logic and critical thinking – as kids learn patterns by counting, they’ll understand cause and effect more readily.

With strong counting skills, kids can easily identify size, weight, and distance differences. This knowledge can help them determine how much to use or buy when faced with decisions that involve those measurements.

Overall, learning to count is vital for many aspects of life — from mathematics to everyday tasks — making it an invaluable tool for children to have at their disposal.
