Christmas Preschool Activity Pack
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Bring the holiday season’s magic into your child’s learning space with this specially designed Christmas Preschool Activity Pack.
I’ve put together holiday activities to keep your preschoolers busy while helping them learn essential skills. These activities include letter recognition, counting, shapes, and more, with festive Christmas themes they will love!
As a mom who loves making learning exciting for little ones, I understand the importance of keeping things fresh and engaging, especially during this busy holiday season.
These printables are perfect for homeschooling families and teachers looking for exciting December activities!
What makes this Christmas preschool activity pack special?
I created this activity pack thinking about what preschoolers need, and it turned out to be fun learning that feels like something other than work!
When my kids were smaller, I noticed their interest in activities with themes they loved. Their eyes would light up at anything featuring Santa, reindeer, or Christmas trees during Christmas time.
These printables combine essential preschool skills with holiday magic. With cheerful illustrations, each activity focuses on a specific learning goal while retaining kids’ attention. I included different skill levels so you can choose what works best for your child.
The activities also work great for different learning styles! Some kids learn better with hands-on activities, while others prefer visual tasks. You’ll find both types here, plus activities that can be done independently or with help from mom or dad.

What it includes:
This Christmas pack comes with ten jolly activities! Let me tell you about some of my favorites:
First up is our Find the Letter C page. It has circles filled with letters. Kids must spot all the Cs. My son loved coloring each one he found! Then there’s the Christmas Tree Maze—it’s challenging enough to make kids think without getting frustrated.
We also have fun counting activities with candy canes and ornaments, shape matching with gingerbread men, and number puzzles featuring a Christmas tree. Your little ones will practice writing with our line-tracing presents page and work on visual skills with our spot-the-difference Christmas cookies.
The pack includes letter tracing, number sequencing up to 20, and even a counting game with multiple-choice answers. Each activity builds different skills while keeping the Christmas spirit alive!
Fun ways to use this printable:
There are many ways to use these activities, but my favorites are ones you probably have never thought of!
Holiday Post Office Play
Transform your learning corner into a bustling Christmas post office! Set up a decorated shoebox as your mailbox, and create a unique “postage stamp” system using stickers.
Completing each activity earns your little one stamps. Put the finished worksheets in festive envelopes and address them to different family members.
This setup works wonderfully with our letter-tracing activities. Kids practice writing while playing Post Office! I like adding a small desk with address labels, stickers, and child-safe ink stamps.
My son loved playing with the mail carrier and delivering Christmas cheer throughout the house. Sometimes, we even wrote messages on the back of completed worksheets before “mailing” them.
Learning Printables and Activities
These are excellent resources for kids! They’ll love being a part of the learning process from start to finish.
Christmas Cookie Learning
Grab those cookie cutters from your kitchen and bring them to your learning space!
While working on our shape-matching activities, let your child explore how actual cookie cutters match the shapes they’re learning. They can trace around them on blank paper, creating shape art alongside the worksheets.
After finishing the activities, head to the kitchen for real baking fun! Use the same shapes they learned about to make actual cookies. My kids love pointing out the shapes they just practiced as we bake.
It’s incredible how much better they remember shapes when there’s a tasty treat involved! You can even create a shape-sorting game with the finished cookies before enjoying them.
North Pole Training Academy
Set up training stations around your space to create an exciting learning adventure! Each station features a different activity from the pack.
Make it special with simple decorations—maybe some paper snowflakes or tinsel. Give your child a striking “trainee badge” to wear as they move between stations.
They’ll feel like they’re training to be Santa’s helper! I create a simple checklist on a clipboard where they can mark off completed “training modules.” After finishing each station, they earn a special sticker or stamp on their badge.
The best part is watching their confidence grow as they complete each task! We sometimes add physical activities between stations, like hopping like a reindeer or tiptoeing like an elf to keep the energy up.
