Question 1

Can I make this spritzer ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can prepare the base mixture up to 24 hours ahead. To maintain the fizz, add sparkling water just before serving.

Question 2

Which herbs work best in this recipe?

Accepted Answer

Mint, basil, and thyme create a classic combination, but rosemary, lemon verbena, or lavender also work beautifully. Use what's freshest or growing in your garden.

Question 3

Can I use bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemons?

Accepted Answer

Fresh lemons provide significantly better flavor. Their bright taste and aromatic oils make a noticeable difference in the final drink.

Question 4

How long will the spritzer base last in the refrigerator?

Accepted Answer

The mixture without sparkling water keeps for 2-3 days in a sealed container in the fridge. The herbs may darken slightly, but the flavor remains delicious.
