Totodile Pokemon Coloring Pages
Got a little trainer at home who loves catching Pokemon? Our Totodile Pokemon Coloring Pages are perfect for those who can’t get enough of these pocket monsters!
Totodile has such a playful look and cool features that make it super fun to color.
These printables work great for any Pokemon fan who wants to color while hanging out with their favorite characters!

I made these as part of my homeschooling freebies collection because kids learn better when having fun with characters they love.
Ready to give your kids that? Let me tell you more about it!
Why is Totodile a great coloring subject?
Totodile is one of the coolest water-type starter Pokemon out there! This happy blue crocodile has those awesome red spikes on its back and that big toothy smile that kids adore (I guess because they can relate? LOL).
There’s also that playful stance and big eyes and scales that make Totodile’s appearance more challenging for older kids to color. Even kids who aren’t hardcore Pokemon fans are drawn to Totodile’s friendly appearance!
Since Totodile is a water Pokemon, kids can get super creative with colors! Sure, Totodile is usually blue, but who says your child can’t make a purple or green one? Kids enjoy making their special version of this Pokemon!
What are the educational benefits of these coloring pages?
Before you dismiss Pokemon as just a game or a show, let me share how these coloring pages featuring them can become valuable educational tools in your homeschool!
Fine Motor Skill Development
Coloring within Totodile’s lines helps kids develop hand control and fine motor coordination – fundamental skills they’ll need for writing!
Color Recognition and Decision Making
Kids learn all about colors while deciding how to color their Pokemon! While Totodile is usually blue, letting them get creative with colors sparks extraordinary imagination!
Focus and Concentration
Finishing a whole coloring page takes attention and patience, which are both needed in school!
Gateway to Learning!
Use these pages to teach about:
- Animal classifications (Totodile is based on crocodiles!)
- Habitats and ecosystems (Where do water creatures live?)
- Basic biology concepts (Why might Totodile have sharp teeth?)
These simple coloring activities create so many learning moments while your kids are having a blast with their favorite Pokemon!

What it includes:
This free printable pack has many awesome Totodile coloring pages that show this water Pokemon doing all sorts of cool stuff. Each page has nice, clear lines – not too simple but not too complex either!
You’ll find Totodile showing off all its moods and moves! Some pages show it splashing around and having fun, while others show that famous toothy grin. I put in easy and trickier pages to entertain younger and older kids.
One of the coolest pages shows Totodile playing with a famous Pokemon item that your kids will recognize immediately. With so many different pages, kids can color Totodile repeatedly without getting bored.

Fun ways to use this printable:
They’re mainly coloring pages, but you can do much more with these Totodile printables! Check out these super fun ideas:
Pokemon Evolution Journal
Have your kids color the Totodile pages and then draw what they think happens when it evolves into Croconaw and Feraligatr!
They can make a little book showing how Totodile grows and changes. This mixes art with thinking about how things grow and change!
Kids get so excited about Pokemon evolution. This project lets them create their version of how it happens! They can write cool facts about each stage or tell a story about a trainer and their growing Totodile.
Totodile’s Trading Card Workshop
Turn those colored pages into custom Pokemon trading cards! After coloring Totodile, kids can cut it out and stick it on cardboard to make their Pokemon card. They can add “stats” like HP, attacks, and special abilities, using their imagination to design a one-of-a-kind Totodile card.
This activity mixes art with writing and game-making! Kids go crazy inventing cool moves like “Water Blast” and “Super Bite,” and practice spelling and storytelling without knowing it!
Kids LOVE making a whole collection of different Totodiles with various powers and trading them with friends. A bit of clear tape or contact paper makes them last longer for playing.
Pokemon Battle Math
Use the colored Totodile pages as game pieces for math practice! Assign different “power levels” to colored Totodiles and use them for addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problems.
For example, “Blue Totodile has 25 power points and Red Totodile has 15. How many points do they have together?”
Kids who hate regular math worksheets will take these Pokemon-themed math activities differently! You can make the math easier or harder depending on what your child needs to learn.
It works so much better than boring worksheets! Make small number counters to track “damage” like in real Pokemon games!
