Today’s St. Patrick’s day book was Leprechaun on the Loose, a tale about a little Leprechaun who causes trouble for a class party and a little boy who is trying desperately to catch the trouble-maker. Finally, the little boy builds a leprechaun trap, but will it work?

This was a pretty cute book, but it didn’t do much for teaching values. Still, it’s one that I would keep in the St. Patrick’s Day collection just for fun. As I’ve mentioned before, my crew is pretty young, so we just colored pictures of Leprechauns.

If your kids are older, you could also build your own Leprechaun trap. Check out some of these projects for inspiration!

I also found an INCREDIBLE blog hop — 15 blogs that have teamed up to give away some amazing St. Patrick’s day freebies! There is something for every age level, so be sure to hop around and grab some goodies!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
