I have 6 people in my house – that means the laundry can be a bit overwhelming at times – oh, who am I kidding? The laundry is ALWAYS overwhelming. After years of constantly having piles, I have finally figured out the 7 steps to laundry DONE! Being the nice girl that I am, I have decided to share them with you! 😉
Seven Simple Steps to Laundry DONE:
Step One: Seriously, in today’s day and age, sorting is no longer necessary! Unless it is a brand new colored item, you don’t have to separate it. I throw everything in together and it makes my life so much easier. Grab the boys’ tote and throw it in the washer. They wash together, dry together, and get folded together. This eliminates “to do” piles and “done” piles since separating isn’t necessary!
Step Two: A cleaning product that brightens colors and whitens whites is an easy alternative to those that are for their own shade of laundry! ARM & HAMMER™ Plus OxiClean™ Ultra Power Pak is convenient & affordable!
Just toss in the washer before adding clothing and the single use Pak dissolves quickly and goes to work, gently bubbling to provide deep cleaning and stain fighting power to leave your laundry with a great fresh scent. No mess, spills or bulky bottles. The easier, better way to whiten, brighten, and freshen laundry.ARM & HAMMER™ plus OxiClean™ Power PAKS delivers the clean you need at a fraction of the cost - costs 50% less per load than the leading single use brand.Click To Tweet
Step Three: Set your timer for the exact amount of time it takes your laundry to wash. Then, move it to the dryer as soon as it is done. With this tactic, you should be able to complete a load of laundry within one hour!
Step Four: Before putting the clean clothes into the dryer, make sure your lint trap is cleaned out! Not only does a clogged lint trap increase your chances of a fire, it also prevents the air from circulating like it should. This makes your laundry take longer to dry! Let me reiterate…A clean lint trap means faster and safer loads of laundry!Click To Tweet
Step Five: Set your timer for 30 minutes! After 30 minutes, most of the laundry in your dryer should be dry! If it isn’t, you need to get your dryer looked at!
Step Six: Immediately pull all the laundry out and fold it or hang it up. Thicker items like sweatshirts and jeans can take longer to dry. You can either hang them in the laundry room to finish drying, or throw them in with the next load from the washer! There is no reason to keep tumbling those thicker items! It creates more wear and tear on your dryer and costs more electricity!
Step Seven: Put away your laundry one load at a time! If you decide to wait until you have finished all loads, you won’t finish!
With a little planning and time, you too can tackle the laundry mountain in no time! ARM & HAMMER™ plus OxiClean™ Power PAKS is a trusted, timeless, practical laundry solution for you and your family! (At least it is for me! I, personally, have used ARM & HAMMER™ for years and was super excited when my local store got the easy and convenient Power PAKS!
