Recipe: Leftover Soup
This is one of those easy meals that we all love. 🙂 We call it leftover soup, because it is made from leftovers. I love easy soup recipes like this!
We keep a gallon ice cream bucket in the freezer and put most leftovers in it:
- Spaghetti
- Chili
- Manwich
- Veggies
- Meat Drippings
- Gravy
- etc
When the tub is full we make soup. 🙂 Depending on what is in the freezer, I might add any combination of the following:
- Can of tomato sauce
- Can of beef broth
- Potatoes
- Kidney, red, chili, great northern beans
- field or sweet peas
- Orzo noodles
Easy and yummy! Serve with fresh bread and/or crackers!

I made this for dinner tonight and my entire family loved it, so will be making it again soon!
We just made some more yesterday! Once that bucket fills us, we know it is soup time! 🙂
We call this “Co-ed soup” at our house. But it is a family favorite!
Thanks for sharing your recipe!

No way. I would have never thought to do that. Great way for making soup!

(I save leftover chicken breast and use them for casseroles.)
