Over 27 Pink Home Decor Accent Pieces
At Miller Manor, I decorate several times per year. After Christmas, I pack up my blue and white to make way for my teal and pink. Teal and pink stays through Easter with a few slight changes – exchanging hearts and kisses for eggs and bunnies. Exchanging red accent for purple accent. However, my main colors are the teal and pink. Pink home decor can be hard to find unless you want to settle for a little girl look, which I certainly don’t! So, for me and you I went digging for the following 27+ Pink Home Decor Accent Pieces.
Every season, Pantone gives a fashion color report. Each week, I will be bringing you a selection of home fashions that match one of the colors. This article concentrates on a pink hue. Pantone has a bright pink color, Pink Yarrow 17-2034 – as seen in the image to the right. However, I have found that home decor does best when you include a few different shades of your chosen accent color. So, the following items all go very well together, even if they are not that exact color.
When building your selection of seasonal accent pieces, you don’t want to overwhelm. Instead, you want to mix in the color and let it make a statement. For example, for Christmas my two main colors are a bright blue and white. Then, I accent with a light teal color. You can see what I mean in this (very bad) picture of my china cabinet. There are a couple shades of this light teal and it is just enough to draw your eye!
At Miller Manor, we have Special Walnut furniture and Brushed Nickle metal throughout most of our house. These two colors make it very easy to decorate in pretty much anything we want. 🙂 You will also find white baseboards and windowsills throughout the entire place. These neutral colors make it easy to do whatever we want, without clashing. So, I get to update our decor colors multiple times per year. In a house this size, it is a pretty big production, but I don’t really decorate everything yet. 😀 One day, when my kids move out, I will most likely do the entire house. While I never want my kids to move, I can’t wait to redecorate my entire house every season!

I’m a big pink lover, so I like your advice to include a few different shades of pink as my accent color to make sure it’s not overwhelming. My home also has white baseboards and windowsills, so it’s been a lot of fun to find home decor accents to bring a little more personality in my space. I’m also looking forward to when the kids head for college and I can have a little more liberty to redecorate as seasons and styles change.
