Are you looking for a fun Halloween Printable? This Find the Letter P will help your preschool and kindergarten-aged children work on letter recognition as well as motor skills.  Some alphabet printables are easy, and some are a bit harder. These Halloween Printables are a lot of fun – because who doesn’t love Halloween? There are so many ways that these can help your child learn to be confident about the alphabet letters.

These freebies are a great way to help them figure out uppercase and lowercase letters – and then maybe start to put them together to form and read words.  I hope you find these homeschooling freebies useful for you in your homeschool classes!

What is the educational benefit of this printable?

This printable will help them learn all about the letter P! There are quite a few letters of the alphabet, and breaking them down one by one is the perfect way to help them learn them all.

They’ll learn to easily identify the uppercase P and the lowercase p, which will help with their reading comprehension.

What it includes:

This printable includes a page full of letters, but their job is to find the uppercase and lowercase letter P. Don’t mind the cute kitty at the bottom. He’s just there to cheer on your little learner!

Fun ways to use this printable:

It’s easy to print off and let the kids use it as is, but think outside the box and try some other fun learning activities.

Find objects that start with the letter P

Have the kids find as many objects as they can that start with the letter P. These can be small objects that they can easily find in the house.

       

 

Have them make their own letter P worksheet

Once they get done doing the printed one, have them make their own! They can write it out and then be the teacher and have you complete it.

Talk about all their favorite ways to eat pumpkin

There are so many pumpkin recipes out there that I’m sure they love. Pumpkin cookies, cakes, treats – and more! Ask them to tell you about their favorite pumpkin dessert – and then make them!
