Question 1

How long do freezer breakfasts last?

Accepted Answer

Breakfast sandwiches and wraps are best within a month, and muffins and quick breads keep 2 to 3 months. Write the date on every bag and use the oldest ones first.

Question 2

Can you freeze a breakfast casserole before or after baking?

Accepted Answer

Either way can work, but baked is easier on a weekday. Bake it, let it cool, cut it into squares and freeze the squares so you can reheat one piece at a time. If you freeze one unbaked, thaw it in the fridge overnight before it goes in the oven.

Question 3

How do you keep frozen breakfast burritos from getting soggy?

Accepted Answer

Let the filling cool completely before you roll them, and wrap each one tightly before it goes in the freezer bag. To reheat, take off any foil, wrap the burrito in a paper towel and microwave it, turning it halfway through, until the center is hot.
