Which is Better?
For me personally, I have owned both sets and I have a VERY clear winner: GreenPan wins hands down!
The fact that I can cook on a lower heat, not use so much fat, nearly wipe everything clean – a game-changer for my cooking in a way that the other just didn’t.
However, the GreenPan is more expensive. So, if you are looking for a budget-friendly cookware set that will last through the years (my mother still uses hers from 35 years ago), then you need to grab this Farberware set.
If you are ready to shorten your cooking time, reduce temperatures, and lower the butter & oils necessary I highly recommend that you upgrade to this GreenPan set. I am forever grateful that I did!
What unique features should I look for when picking cookware brands that work well for my cooking needs?
There are a few things to keep in mind when trying to pick the best cookware sets. Keep in mind that ultimately it will come down to your personal preference, but some things to look for can be found below.
Make sure that the pan can withstand high heat. Since you’ll be cooking on a hot surface, they need to be able to hand it. Also, for me, non-stick pans are a must. A nonstick surface is just so much easier to clean, and it also does a great job of keeping the cooking surface free of food particles as well. Easy cleanup for the win!
Cool-touch handles are also important for this home cook because high temperatures on the pan shouldn’t mean hot surface temperatures on the handles. Stay-cool handles are also important because hot handles and kids don’t mix at all.
No matter if you like stainless steel cookware, Teflon cookware, ceramic pans with ceramic coating, or other brand-name pans, you have to ultimately decide the best new pans for you. I gave my opinion above on what I love – now it’s up to you to decide!
