From making gingerbread houses to decorating ornaments, there are plenty of activities that can get kids involved in the festive spirit.
Additionally, popular games like pin the nose on the snowman or holiday-themed scavenger hunts can add a fun and competitive element to any gathering.
With a little creativity and some holiday spirit, there is no shortage of fun games to keep kids entertained during the holiday season.
What are fun treats for kids to help make for Christmas?
The holiday season is a time for family, fun, and most importantly, delicious treats! If you’re looking for ways to get your little ones involved in the festivities, there are plenty of fun and easy treats to make together.
Kids will love decorating sugar cookies with colorful sprinkles and icing or making festive candy cane reindeer using chocolate chips and pretzels.
For a healthier option that’s still fun, try making yogurt-covered strawberries decorated like Santa’s hats. Homemade hot cocoa with marshmallow stir sticks is always a hit, too.
The possibilities are endless, and the best part is that these treats can be enjoyed by everyone in the family!
What are fun family games during the holidays?
The holidays are a great time for families to come together and create lasting memories. One way to do that is by playing fun games.
Some favorites include charades, where each family member takes a turn acting out a word or phrase while the others guess, or Pictionary, where players draw and guess the drawing.
Another great option is “musical chairs” with a holiday twist – using holiday music and having players dress up in festive attire.
Family trivia can also be a hit, with questions ranging from family history to pop culture. Whatever game is chosen, it’s sure to bring laughter and joy to the holiday season.

Another great option is eggnog cheesecake, which combines the holiday flavors of eggnog and cinnamon in a creamy, rich dessert that’s perfect for any celebration.
Finally, don’t forget about hot cocoa bars, where guests can customize their hot chocolate with toppings like whipped cream, marshmallows, and caramel sauce.
