Patriotic Pies in a Jar is such a great idea. You can use cut outs of stars or stripes, and also make blueberry or strawberry pies!

A super cute idea for using recycled toilet paper and paper towel rolls is to create Patriotic Wind Twirlers. You can paint these red, white and blue, add some glitter, ribbon, and they are done.

Create a cute construction paper craft by making a Patriotic Roller Coaster Ride. It is something fun for the kids to do while learning.

Help your children learn about local Community Helpers. These cards tell you about each job. There is one job per letter of the alphabet.

Using construction paper, scissors and glue, let them create their own Patriotic Lantern. You can hang it outside with Pride when they get done with it.

Fireworks in a Jar is a great and safe craft for your kids. You don’t have to worry about the kids hurting themselves, and this is super fun.

These Patriotic Word Searches include searching for Presidents names, and American Landmarks.

Star Spangled Sugar Cookies are a great patriotic activity for your children to help with. Make star shaped cookies and also use red, white and blue coloring to make them better.

Using straws and a few other things, let them create their own Patriotic Jewelry. Red, white and blue straws will make for a beautiful necklace and bracelet.

Teaching children about Bald Eagles is another great lesson plan. The Bald Eagle is a great animal to learn about while teaching about Patriotism.
