Pumpkin Fall Activities for Preschoolers Cheat Sheet

Pumpkin Sensory

The first activity on our fall activities for preschoolers cheat list is a recipe from Learning 2 Walk on how to make pumpkin cinnamon playdough and pumpkin cinnamon ooblek.

Learn Play Imagine has a Pumpkin Slime Recipe  that is created in the pumpkin itself, definitely easier for clean ups.

Here is a Pumpkin Patch Small World from Buggy and Buddy that I am sure that you will want to try.

Tinkerlab has a  Pumpkin Pie Playdough  that you may also want to try with your preschoolers.

Edible Pumpkin Pie Playdough from Coffee Cups and Crayons. This activity is great if your kids feel the need to exercise their taste buds.

Pumpkin Spice Marshmallow Dough from Housing a Forest. To be honest, I have never heard of marshmallow dough, so I find this activity intriguing.

Pumpkin Art

If you are interested in decorating your pumpkins then the next few posts are for you. Simple Fun for Kids has a pour painting pumpkin activity that you have to see.  They also have a marbled pumpkin, fluorescent pumpkin as well as a thumb-tacked pumpkin.

Crafty Morning has a Melted Crayon Pumpkin that is so simple that its ridiculous. All you need to do is grab a few broken crayons your preschooler has and hop on over and try the craft. Maybe you may want to purchase some new crayons just for the craft.

Pumpkin Science

If you want to do a few Science lessons then continue reading.

Preschoolers love to learn how things work and the way they behave. Why not show them how to dissolve pumpkin candy? Check out Dissolving Candy Pumpkins courtesy of Lemon Lime Adventures.

When I saw the name of this craft, I HAD to check it out. Trust me, your preschooler will love this. Here is Pumpkin-cano from Little Bins for Little Hands.

Pumpkin Lesson Plans and Printables

First up we have a pumpkin lesson plan that includes a book list as well as a pumpkin craft from 3 Boys and a Dog.

Meet Penny also has a free Pumpkin Patch Parable Unit Study that includes math, science, art and language activities.

This Reading Mama also has a free Pumpkin PreK/K pack that you may want to get your hands on.

And just because I thought this post by Brain Power Boy was pretty awesome, I included it in my fall activities for preschoolers cheat list as well.

Well there you have it, your very own pumpkin fall activities for preschoolers cheat sheet. What has been your preschooler’s favourite fall activity so far? Let me know in the comments below.
