What it includes:

With the click of the download button, you’ll have instant access to this multi-page scavenger hunt printable.

Two pages are in color, and two are in black and white. This means that they can also color in the pictures after they find them!

Another great aspect of this freebie is that readers, as well as early learners who haven’t yet learned how to read, can join in the fun. A couple of the pages have the words of the images printed on them, while a couple of the pages don’t. It’s the best of both worlds!

Fun ways to use this printable:

This printable might seem straight-forward, but there are so many other ways that it can be used! Here are a few ideas to get you started!

At-Home Pantry Hunt

Before heading to the store, kids can search the pantry or fridge for items on the list. This helps them understand what you already have and what needs to be bought.

It’s also a great way to get them to help you see what you might be missing when you’re making your shopping list!

Color & Shape Challenge

Turn the scavenger hunt into a color or shape game. Instead of just finding “apples,” ask kids to find “something red” or “something round” in the store or at home.

They’ll love the extra challenge – and they won’t even know that they’re learning!

Price Tag Detective

For older kids, add a money twist. Have them find the item and then check the price. They can compare brands, estimate totals, or even keep a tally of how much the list would cost.

It’s a fun way to add a little bit of math into their day!
