When it’s dry, hang it on a window with a piece of tape and watch the light shine through! Every time the sun comes through that colorful heart, it reminds kids to love God wholeheartedly!
This craft works best with thicker paper (like card stock) and regular tissue paper (the kind in gift bags). If you don’t have tissue paper, wax paper works too!

“Love God” Action Cards
This activity gets kids moving and practicing the verse! After coloring the page of Matthew 22:37, help them think of ways to show God’s love.
Write these ideas on small heart-shaped cards: “sing a praise song,” “thank God for something special,” “help someone in your family,” “pick up litter to care for God’s creation,” etc.
