Here are a few of my favorites!
Draw a picture of a bee
Drawing a bee can be fun and easy! Start by sketching a small oval for the head and thorax, then draw two antennae on top of the head.
Add four legs to the thorax, then draw the wings. When you’re ready to add details, use curved lines for short fur-like hairs around the bee’s body, and be sure to have cartoonish eyes and a stinger!
If your colors are light enough you can even shade with colored pencils or markers to give your bee that extra bit of reality.
Consider adding stripes by overlapping two colors. After you’ve finished creating your masterpiece, display it proudly or give it as a gift to a loved one – they’ll love it!
Go on a bee hunt
Bee hunting is a great way to observe the natural world up close. Try these tips for the perfect bee hunt to make it even more fun.
First, take a few moments to challenge yourself and see how many different kinds of bees you can find in your area.
Research online to learn their identifying characteristics, such as size and color – this will help you better recognize them when they buzz around by your feet!
Once you have the proper gear and are in a good spot, it’s time to start bee hunting.
Take the opportunity to observe the environment around you and invite other friends or family members to join in on the fun!
With everyone on board trying to spot exciting creatures, it will undoubtedly be an adventure that can’t be forgotten soon!

Make some snacks using honey
Making fun snacks with honey is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth while being mindful of sugar intake.
Honey is naturally sweeter than sugar so you can use much less and experience just as much sweet flavor.
Try baking some honey spice cookies or mini muffins with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Or you could mix some honey with oats, nuts, and dried fruits for an energy bar that will give you a fantastic energy boost throughout the day!
An interesting twist is to combine meltable cheese with a touch of honey – the salty and sweet combination makes for a delicious snack.
