Menu Plan Monday and Weekly Work Out Plan (04/15/2013)

mpm Menu Plan Monday and Weekly Work Out Plan (04/15/2013)

So, I have been working very hard the past 4 weeks to lose 1 to 1.5 pounds per week. I it isn’t much, but the point is to be very careful that I am NOT losing lean mass.  That I am only losing body fat.  So, I have lost 6.54 pounds of body fat – or 2.3% of my body fat!  The scale shows 6 pounds lost.  So, I have managed to shed body fat and pump up a bit of my lean mass (or muscle)  YAY!

What does that mean in inches?  Well, I am kind of lazy.  So, I have not measured all the parts of my body.  I have only been worried about my waist and my hips.  LOL!  So, I have only been measuring them.  Waist I have lost  1.5 inches and hips I have lost 1.25.  I am ok with that!

So, this week I am kind of addicted to Fitness Blender.  It has everything I could want in a workout and they have tons of equipment free ones.  I can grab some free weight or strap on some ankle weights to add a bit more resistance but all-in-all, I like them and they kick my rear for sure!  LOL!

OK, so my plan for this week is:

  • MondayUpper Body:  arms, chest, upper back
  • TuesdayCardio
  • WednesdayCore:  stomach, back, oblique’s
  • ThursdayCardio
  • FridayLower Body:  Legs, Glutes, and Lower Back  <–KILLS ME!  Still sore from last week.

Be sure to print out your coupons this week!  Remember, you should be able to print them twice.

Ok, on to my menu planning ideas for this week:

  • For breakfast I have been eating my Creamy Caramel Mocha Protein Shake – it is about 310 calories and really gets me up and charging through my morning blog work and my workout.
  • For Snacks, I have purchased some light yogurt, granola bars, rice cakes, rice chips, and yummy fruit.
  • For lunches, I have been changing things up from eating leftovers (if you stick to an ACTUAL serving, no food is too bad) to eating fruit and veggies, salads, grilled chicken, lean pockets, etc.

MondayRotel Dip – this one is going to be super hard to resist.  I am going to allow myself a very small amount AFTER I fill up on salad.

Tuesday:  Cheeseburger Mac

Wednesday: McDonald’s – thank goodness for the low calorie menu – this is a crazy busy night with dance and McDonald’s is the closest place to grab some grub

Thursday:  Hamburgers – I will make Ricky and I 2 oz ones and we can eat them on 40 calorie bread instead of big buns.  So, we will be ok.

FridayPork Chop and Rice Casserole

Menu Plan Monday: Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle

mpm Menu Plan Monday: Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle

This is one of those crazy weeks!  I have a ton of things on my to do list and need to work in 20-30 minutes of exercise each day this week.  I have to… I don’t have a choice!  Ever since I stopped doing the #cinchspiration stuff, I have gained so much weight back that I now weight more than I did to start with!  So, Ricky and I have found a new bodybuilding weight loss program that doesn’t use any supplements, fat loss shakes, etc and we are starting today.  I made us a printable book that helps us and we are to start it with 49 days.  I am determined to make it work and then will see what happens afterwards!

Wish me luck!  I am to eat 5 meals per day at 300 calories each PLUS burn approximately 300 calories with exercise 6 days per week.

Be sure to print out your coupons this week!  Remember, you should be able to print them twice.

Ok, on to my menu plan for this week:

Monday: Easy Chinese Stir Fry

Tuesday: Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Wednesday: Frito Pie for the boys and yummy salad for the Adults

Thursday: Leftover Soup

Friday: Kelli’s Spaghetti

Losing Weight is NOT my Resolution this New Year! #iHeartOmron

iHeart400x250 thumb Losing Weight is NOT my Resolution this New Year! #iHeartOmron

This was me after I did the cinchspiration stuff.  Unfortunately, I quit working out and became bigger than I was to start with.  Dieting doesn’t work!  It simply doesn’t work!  You have to change your life, not diet.  Now, I am working with Mamavation and Omron to change my life, not my weight!  I am not showing a picture of me right now… instead I am showing what I want to be again. clip image001 thumb Losing Weight is NOT my Resolution this New Year! #iHeartOmron

07.06 thumb Losing Weight is NOT my Resolution this New Year! #iHeartOmronOver the next 30 days, I am to bust behind working out and using the scale, dashboard, and step counter supplied by Omron.  I am to eat healthy, but not diet!  Will it work?  Can I get myself back in the mindset of healthy?

So, @MrBookieBoo has given us a workout plan to follow, but I have also downloaded a neat app to my HTC WIndows 8X phone that says I can do 100 pushups in 6 weeks if I just follow it daily.  Cool, right?  So, in addition to doing my workout and walking 10,000 steps per day, I will be pushing myself to get up to 100 push ups!

Keep your eye on the #iHeartOmron hashtag on twitter to follow my journey.  I will also check in each week here with what I have accomplished!

Exercise:

Ok, so I am supposed to be doing some major exercises 5 days a week.  Plus, getting in 10,000 steps. I made the joke to my husband that if I am doing all that, it is no wonder I am supposed to lose weight.  When on earth am I going to have time to eat at this rate?

How do you manage to get in your exercises each day?

As you can see from my dashboard below, I haven’t even come close to my goals.  But, I am to actually start today so I am ok.  Did you know that as someone who sits in front of my computer each day, I don’t even get 1,000 steps in per day unless I really push myself?  Crazy, right!?

So, I have to try very hard each day to get these steps in.  That means that I have to actually walk and I have to walk a TON!  10,000 steps is equivalent to approximately 5 miles.  How in the world am I going to walk 5 miles a day and still get in everything else?

Wish me luck!
